Patrick Hayes

Born in Alaska, and transplanted to NC  at a very young age I grew up fishing. Fly fishing didn't start until later in my teenage years. One popper and a brim on top water and that was all she wrote. More than just the fish, fly fishing is a lifeline that brings me back to a place of peace. The river is healing and the anticipation of what's around the next bend makes time stop. Sharing this gift with others is my passion. Every day I spend on the water with a client is special, and I would love to spend a day with you!

Carter Ailsworth

Growing up in tidewater Virginia, Carter began fishing as a child with his father and grandfather on the Chesapeake bay, as well as the Jackson, Maury, and upper James rivers. At the age of twelve he was gifted a fly rod and caught his first brook trout on a dry fly. From that moment on, fly fishing for both freshwater and saltwater species became his passion. Currently living in Burlington, North Carolina, Carter primarily focuses on trout fishing the Smith River as well as fishing the Haw River and it’s tributaries for bass and other species.
